July Online Course Details

The three-week online section of this program will start with two days of orientation and language placement testing. In a small group with others at a similar proficiency level, you will build and develop your Arabic language reading, writing, and speaking skills. The online section will deliver content through virtual platforms such as Microsoft Teams, Zoom, Facebook closed groups, and other online interactive tools.

Optional January-term Course Details

The in-country program for admitted SIT students will begin with a two-day orientation on culture and livelihood in Amman and Jordan. Continue your Arabic language studies while living with a homestay family in Amman and immersing yourself in local culture. You’ll put your language skills to use in field-based settings and go on a three-day excursion to Jesus’ baptism Site, the Dead Sea, Petra, and Wadi Rum.
